We are officially entering November football, teams are in the hunt, prepping for playoff positions, or looking at their draft positions. These games seem to mean more with the hits coming harder and teams separating themselves from the pack as we identify who is a contender and who is a fraud. Let’s look to rebound after a tough betting week last week and highlight our best picks from each game.
Cowboys versus Falcons
Its time for the Cowboys to let Mike McCarthy go and chalk this season up as a disaster. Turns out it is difficult to win spending 99% of your money on a WR and QB then the other 1% on two running backs that were good 5 years ago. Meanwhile the Falcons are heating up and Kirk Cousins is looking as healthy as ever. He has seemingly unlocked Kyle Pitts and Bijan is awesome. Look for the Falcons to win and to win with ease.
Best Bet- Falcons -3
Dolphins versus Bills
Josh Allen and the Bills are rolling after a convincing win last week against the Seahawks. He has cut back on his turnovers and Keon Coleman is looking better and better each week. On the Dolphins side Tua is back and has the dolphins are a watchable team with a tough lost last week against a very competitive Cardinals team. The Bills have a commanding lead in the division and look for that to grow after this weekend, but the dolphins with Tua will be able to keep this close.
Best Bet- Over 48.5
Raiders versus Bengals
I just can’t give up on the Bengals and still believe that they have an outside chance of making the playoffs even if they haven’t beaten a team over .500 and lost to the Patriots. This team is incredibly talented on offense and has a secondary as reliable as Kadarius Tony’s hands but this week is an absolute must win game for them. Meanwhile the raiders just need to focus on the fact that Maxx Crosby is staying with the team and Brock Bowers being the next Gronk. Aside from that they do not have much else to look forward to as the Bengals win this one.
Best Bet- Bengals -7
Chargers versus Browns
The Jameis effect got the Browns a massive win against a very good Ravens team but is this sustainable? Jameis may be the most electric football player on the field but it is important remember the Chargers have the ultimate football guy, Jim Harbaugh. A man who has literally stated he wont stop coaching until his heart stops beating has this team playing some throwback football. Coming off a week where Herbert was getting assaulted by a defensive player until his center handled business this Chargers team is primed to ride that wave and get another big win.
Best Bet- Over 41.5
Patriots versus Titans
Oh boy, this game just stinks across the board. In a game that Drake Maye might be playing as he is “trending nicely” and out of the Titans camp both Rudolph and Levis are prepping to play it is almost impossible to pick a winner. The Titans defense, who were put in impossible situations, got embarrassed last week and the Patriots defense rebounded after getting called soft look for those units to shine throughout the week. The best thing to consider is the trend of teams not covering against the Lions.
Best Bet- Under 37.5
Commanders versus Giants
The Commanders are fresh off of making the play of the year against the Bears with a walk-off Hail Mary to win the game. The Giants are still a terrible team and Daniel Jones needs to write a book detailing how someone with his skill level was able to start for SIX YEARS in the NFL. This game pits a good team with a good QB against a bad team with a bad QB and that’s really all you should consider when looking at what to bet.
Best Bet- Commanders -4
Saints versus Panthers
I never thought I would be so thankful to have Derek Carr back in the line-up. The Saint’s starter is finally back from injury and the Saints finally have a shot of playing watchable football. On the other side of the ball Bryce Young is still the starter even with Andy Dalton returning from his bizarre thumb injury and the NFL needs to make a relegation rule if the Panthers keep trending down like this.
Best Bet- Saints -7
Broncos versus Ravens
The Ravens lost to the Chiefs, Raiders, and Browns this year. Only one of those losses make any sense but that’s just what this team does I guess. Lamar is still the leading MVP candidate and kills the blitz going against a blitz heavy Broncos team and they added a solid WR2 in Diontae Johnson. The Broncos are fun and kinda watchable but have the draw of going against an angry Ravens team that will turn their shining rookie QB back into a pumpkin.
Best Bet- Over 46.5
Jaguars versus Eagles
The Jaguars had all the chances to get a win against a very good Green Bay team but Trevor Lawerence and company made to many mistakes to include a costly turnover in their own redzone. The Eagles just crushed the Bengals and seem to be trending in all the right directions on offense and defense. Taking all of those facts into consideration there is one outlier that changes everything, Doug Petersons home coming game.
Best Bet- Jaguars + 7.5
Bears versus Cardinals
I want it on record that I have been high on this Cardinals team from day 1 (a rare situation in which I may be right). Kyler Murray is finally tired of the Call of Duty jokes and has this team atop their division with two straight weeks of walk-off field goal wins. The Bears seem to have finally turned on their coach as they highlighted the lack of discipline that cost them a big win on the road. The Cardinals will keep their improbable win streak going with another big win this week against a Bears team that will undergo a coaching change this off-season.
Best Bet- Cardinals -1.5
Packers versus Lions
Cards on the table on this one, I love the Green Bay Packers so everything I say within this section is completely biased. With that out in the open Love should not play as the Packers need him healthy for the rest of the season and Malik has proven all he does is win. The Lions are riding the high and people are considering them the best team in the NFL even with an undefeated Chiefs team out there. That being said if anyone can stop them its this Packers defense as they are playing lights out.
Best Bet- Packers +3
Rams versus Seahawks
Talk about two teams trending in the exact opposite directions. The Rams are finally healthy, and the Seahawks have been struggling these past two weeks. The Seahawks probably will not get their star WR back in DK Metcalf as he is still doubtful to play and the Rams have officially taken Kupp off of the trade market as their division is wide open. McVay will take advantage of this downtrodden Seahawks team and gain another huge win in a division that is wide open.
Best Bet- Rams 1.5
Colts versus Vikings
Joe Flacco is back and the Colts locker room seems to be in disarray. Anthony Richardson was benched in a situation where it seems like there is more issues that are not being divulged. This move gives the Colts a chance to compete but there may be to much drama throughout this organization to trust them. The Vikings are in the early stages of a complete meltdown that hasn’t been done since, checks notes, the Vikings. The only difference is how talented this Vikings offense is as they also addressed issues within their O-line following a devastating injury.
Best Bet- Over 46.5
