What a wild week it has been, from playoff defining wins and teams separating themselves from the pack to trades showing us who is all in and who have decided to join the Panthers in mediocracy let’s look at our packout list featuring the top hits from this trade deadline.

This Weeks Big Winners and Losers NFC

The Lions may not have the best record in the NFL but boy is it hard to not say they aren’t the best team in the entire league. Ever since an early season stumble against a VERY scrappy Bucs team the Lions can not be stopped on offense and the defense is no slouch. To make matters worse they added Za’Darius Smith who is still an every down player that will come in an make an immediate difference on the defense.  Halfway through the year the Lions look like a team to beat and I can not wait to see how Detroit handles this unfamiliar territory. The Packers have no reason to panic and have the bye week to get Jordan Love healthy and address the turnover concerns. Kirk Cousins and the Falcons have officially broken the Dallas Cowboys as Dak is out for a minimum of four games and was openly admitting that they suck. Zeke is not travelling with the team as he treats the NFL as a part-time job and we may be able to see Trey Lance as QB. Don’t worry though the cowboys are making moves as they trade for, checks notes, Jonothan Mingo. Jerry Jones may be trying to destroy this organization before he dies because if he can’t see them win no one can. The Falcons are trending in the right direction as they have a strangle hold on the NFC South. Our final winner and loser of the weekend come from Arizona as this feisty Cardinals team is making some noise. I may owe Kyler an apology as I also fell for the COD jokes because he has this team fighting their tail off, also this may have something to do with playing a dumpster fire in the Chicago Bears. Wiliams is getting obliterated, and the Bears may be doing what they do best, ruining another QBs career.

This Weeks Big Winners and Losers AFC

I just can’t give up on the Bengals as they came out and hit the Raiders in the mouth. Joe Burrow continues to light it up with 5 more passing TDs and the Bengals are all in now after making their fourth trade in franchise history for Khalil Herbert to sure up their RB room. The Raiders on the other hand just need to focus on the draft and pray that they are able to find a QB because a season that had little hope to begin with is getting even worse. The Dolphins finally are watchable again and look frisky but as sure as the sun sets in the West and Penn State can’t beat Ohio State they lost to the Bills. Josh Allen may have the most underappreciated season thus far as he has been balling out (ya that’s right I am cool and hip). The Bills are a serious contender as their defense is only getting better and a healthy Amari Cooper is an absolute game changer. The AFC has SIX two-win teams as impossible as that sounds, and I think the Saints may be the worst team of them all. Fresh off a brutal loss to a Bryce Young led Panthers (good for Bryce) they are down a head coach, and their starting corner back Marshon Lattimore has been shipped to the Washington Commanders. These teams should be flexed to Tubi for the remainder of the season as they are both a tough watch. Finally, the Chiefs just refuse to lose, and Todd Bowles is a coward. In what world would you ever risk giving the ball to Patrick Mahomes in overtime with the chance to win the game. The Bucs had a chance to go for 2 and the win in the fourth quarter but ended up kicking the extra point and dooming their chances of winning. The Chiefs may have a real chance of going 17-0 if the beat the Bills in two weeks.
