With a week primed for upsets in both the NFL and NCAA let’s take a look at our favorite upsets!

Illinois over Michigan + 150
If it wasn’t for their amazing season last year (that may or may not require an asterisk) that culminated in a National Title Michigan would not be ranked in the top 25. Their defense is good but not great, but the glaring problems exist on the offensive side of the ball. It looks like Tuttle will be starting this week and even with this being his 17th year in college football I have no faith in this being the jolt the offense needed. On the other side of the field, we have a fighting Illini team that has started slow in several games but has shown the moxie to come back and win. Bielema has created a gritty team, and I expect them to pull off the upset this week against a down bad Michigan. If that isn’t enough Illinois’ alternate uniforms have to be worth a three-point bump.
Dolphins over the Colts +130
It is important to clarify that this bet is strictly because I do not believe in Anthony Richardson not because I believe in Tyler Huntly. It is hard to win in the NFL and it gets even harder to win when your QB cannot throw the football. Hand up I will admit I has smitten for a brief second during week one watching Richardson uncork a perfect deep ball but was immediately reminded of why I don’t trust him when he missed a wide-open receiver five yards down the field by twenty feet. Couple that fact with the Colts struggling to stop the run and a Miami team with their backs against the wall coming off a bye-week and you have the recipe for an upset. Mike McDaniel will find a way to get Tyreek the ball and the Dolphins will be walking away with a much-needed win.
